Sadigura Rebbe
Sadigura Rebbe
In order to make this painting really eye catching I utilised a contrasting colour palette. The vibrant red and oranges really pop against the cooler blues and purples of the bekitsher. I softly alluded to the floral/vine design in the bekitsher as I didn’t want to overwhelm the painting. The fruit took me many hours to paint as I wanted each, and every grape to be unique. I focused on how they each capture and reflect light differently. All this to set the scene for the Bobbover Rebbe who is captured clapping his hands, engaging the viewer in that moment.
